My name is John Ortiz, and I was born and raised on the beautiful Caribbean island of Puerto Rico—a place that, to me, reflects the beauty of the Garden of Eden.
In August 2024, I made the life-changing decision to accept and follow Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. I began taking Bible studies with the goal of being baptized. After months of learning and growing in faith, in February 2025, I joyfully completed my studies and was baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, marking the beginning of a new spiritual life.
Today, I am blessed to be a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Ashtabula, Ohio. With great joy, happiness, and unwavering faith, I can tell you that this has been the best decision of my life.
Of course, like any decision that truly matters, the journey has not been without obstacles and challenges. The Christian path often comes with trials, but these trials strengthen our faith and draw us closer to Christ.
I could share so much more, but that would fill an entire book! The purpose of this website, with the help of our Lord Jesus Christ, is to help you grow as a faithful Christian and find encouragement along the way.
Although I am a Seventh-day Adventist, I believe that everyone who has been baptized by immersion in water is a child of God (All Christian Denominations are WELCOME!). We share a sacred duty: to unite with one purpose—carrying the Gospel to all nations, tribes, and languages under one banner: the Truth of the Word of God in the Holy Bible and the Faith that saves.
